time without ease

so much time passed on

that your face feels void in me

where warm used to be

once used to shine

now lackluster blur

that my lips now bloom

and cheeks of rose

can’t remember your dead prose

of words so sweet

or your skin faint with desert sweat

there is no ease to this love

embittered by your stranger’s glance

that’s sideways and crooked

wondering who i am
